Kate Green
Kate Green is a principal owner of Naracoorte Physiotherapy Clinic. Kate graduated with a Bachelor of Applied Science in Physiotherapy from the University of South Australia in 1985. She spent two years working in the public system at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital, then the Flinders Medical Centre. Kate then headed into the private sector working for a variety of practices, including Roberts Physio, Ian Foord and Griffith Rehabilitation.
Kate’s love for the great outdoors led her to cycle around France, and sail around the Greek Isles. It was during her travels that she worked for the NHS in Dover, England, and then a private practice in Kent.
Back on home soil, and after an enjoyable locum in Young, NSW, Kate fell in love with the rural lifestyle, married a farmer and moved to the Limestone Coast.
In 1998 Kate started a practice in Bordertown, before leaving to have her two children Natasha and Ben. Kate returned to work and became one of the founding members of the NPC team in 2006.
With an ongoing thirst for knowledge, Kate has attended a David Butler Neural Tension course and a Local Joint Stabilisation course (Richardson, Jull, Hodges, Hides Research). Kate has also completed a one year post graduate certificate in Sports Physiotherapy.
On a personal note, Kate has represented South Australia in Netball, sea kayaked in New Zealand and sung in an international eisteddfod in Japan. |
